Za'atar -this is a Lebanese spice and herb mix used all over the middle east. the mix is used to dress salads, pizzas, flatbreads, fish. The ingredients are;
Sumac powder
Toasted sesame seeds
Dried Marjoram or thyme
A little salt.
Combinations vary - so try your own mix. I prefer a predominantly sumac mix but others prefer sesame seeds to dominate.
