Manchester Streets -Tib Lane

Tib Lane running left off Cross Street just before the junction with John Dalton Street and Albert Square.

The famous Willoughby's Wine merchants stood on Tib Lane for many years but has now gone.

In its place is Cafe Nero. A nice venue. Sit and people watch if you have time.

Also of note on Tibb Lane is the Philips Art gallery, The Town Hall Tavern -a good traditional English pub -of which there are a few in Manchester, and the eye-wateringly expensive Restaurant, called Lounge 10.
