Plenty of coffee places in Manchester, some good some bad.  One of the best and a national brand is on the corner of Princess Street and Moseley Street opposite the art gallery.

One of the worst -in my view- is the same national brand run on deansgate opposite La Tasca. It should be the same but somehow, probably because of the upkeep and the way the staff run it, it is disappointing...they burn thre coffee too.
